Life beyond Sundays—connecting, caring, and growing together
The Gamble Hall serves as a vital hub for our community and is the central location for most of our midweek outreach. This historic venue hosts our very successful Tots and Toddlers group on Friday mornings to support young families and it is the home of SMASH (St Mark’s Activities and Social Hub), a weekly gathering that provides lunch, activities and a chance for people of varying ages to connect.
Furthermore, the spacious Hall is used to host well-attended social events, such as fairs and car boot sales, demonstrating its important role in fostering community spirit.
The Gamble Hall is a beautiful and historic asset that serves as a vital hub for the St Mark’s community and the wider parish. Named after the famous Gamble family who gifted the land and paid for its construction in the 1800s, the Hall carries a rich industrial legacy that continues to benefit local residents today.
